Spider

I am a spider
long and thin and brown.
The wispy kind
with a transparent body.

Someone has put me in a jar.
I don't know who
they put me in here to look at
because I am interesting.

Not because I am beautiful
not even because
they liked me.
They were only interested.

I have only one talent
I can spin a web
to catch my own food.
But there is nothing alive in here...
only me.
